Officials have unveiled the signing of young winger Gabriel Martinelli to a long-term deal until June 2027. The 21-year-old Brazilian international will reportedly enjoy a lucrative pay rise, with his weekly wage set to jump from the current £70,000 to £180,000 a week.
Martinelli has been in scintillating form this season, scoring seven goals in 27 appearances in all competitions to solidify his place in the starting lineup. Despite having a year and a half left on his current contract, the club side couldn't wait to offer him a hefty extension to ensure the fiery attacker stays with the team.
