The two teams clashed like falcons in the opening half, with high pressing tactics, and Rico Lewis was as solid as a rock in front of Spurs' many attacks as the wind swept through the leaves, but to no avail. City's backfield control of the ball is like a flowing river, Tottenham's careful formation, Bentancur returned to the team and Højbjerg to build a solid defense, Alvarez's path to breakthrough is difficult, City's attack in the middle of the first half seemed to be unable to do anything.

In the second half, Tottenham made a mistake, Mahrez drove down the right, Gündo?an failed to get on top of the ball, Grealish swept a shot wide, Lloris mistimed his shot and Alvarez added the second. City then scored twice in 52 minutes, with Mahrez heading home from Haaland.

City scored two goals in 10 minutes in the second half, Tottenham's defense was in disarray, City mastered the possession advantage, Tottenham retreated, City Alvarez became a striker, Tottenham's defense was under pressure. 63 minutes, Mahrez received the ball on the right side of the road, flashed away from Persic, and fired a shot from 11 yards out, and Lloris gave away another goal with a mistake.

Sun was almost invisible throughout the game, Perisic was in average form, Tottenham's left side attack was blocked, and City's Ake was outstanding, destroying Tottenham's right side attack.
