Paris Saint Germain

The international friendly match against Saudi Arabia's Riyadh Stars undoubtedly became the center of attention for fans around the world, as the event witnessed two legendary players, Cron and Mays, playing on the same pitch, perhaps even for the last time in their careers. Tickets were naturally snapped up and a top VIP ticket sold for a staggering €2.2 million.

As captain of the Riyadh Stars, Cron will lead his team to challenge Paris Saint-Germain in Thursday's match against the "MNM" trio of Mays, Nima and Kilian McBarbee. According to foreign media reports, the starting price for a top VIP ticket was already as high as 220,000 euros, and was eventually won by a Saudi real estate developer named Musharraf Al-Ghamdi for 2.2 million euros (about 18.54 million Hong Kong dollars).

Saudi media reports say that the super ticket comes with a number of privileges, and in addition to watching the game, ticket holders will be able to attend a special pre-match dinner, which will be attended by players from both teams, and have access to the locker room, and even participate in the post-match awards ceremony, to get up close and personal with the stars. All proceeds from this ticket will go to charity. The price of general admission tickets has also been increased from 30 to 100 riyals.
