Dutch star Weghergs, with transfer rumors swirling, has reportedly agreed with FC Bizkidas to bid farewell to Turkey and embark on a journey to England. The trip is aimed at the Premier League giants, Manchester United, who have long coveted the shot-stopper, and have been in close contact with Cronin to facilitate the transfer.

Weggerges, 30, has been on loan to Bisidas from Generali this season, scoring nine goals in 18 appearances, and shining against Argentina in the World Cup quarter-finals, where he scored twice. After receiving a loan offer from Manchester United, Beasidas were initially hesitant, perhaps expecting a more lucrative compensation from United. However, they have recently released Wegeghese, a decision closely linked to Cron.

Part of the reason for Bisidas' letting go was that they signed Cameroon's World Cup captain and striker Abubakar without having to pay a transfer fee. As a result, they were willing to let go of Weghese. As for how they were able to sign Abubakar for zero transfer fee, it was all thanks to the addition of Cron.

Originally playing for Saudi club Ainas, Abubakar was forced to terminate the contract of one of Ainas' foreigners to make room for Cron after Cron joined the club and ran out of foreigner slots. In the end, Abubakar was able to leave the team for free and move to Bitidas. This change indirectly led to Bisidas releasing Weggerghese, allowing Manchester United to borrow the Dutch international.
