Manchester United's leading player, Marcus Rashford, has been transformed this season, and has been even more of a godsend at Old Trafford. In the early hours of Wednesday (11th), he scored two more goals in the EFL Cup match against Charlton, scoring in his eighth consecutive home game, breaking the record of seven consecutive home games scored by Ronnie in 2012. If 'Little Fortune' scores again in the next crucial game against Manchester City, he will equal the club's legendary scorer Wallace's record of nine consecutive goals at Old Trafford.

Rashford has been in hot form of late, scoring in all six of his post-World Cup matches (seven goals in total), with a particularly strong showing at Old Trafford. Since his goal against Shulev in the Europa League last October, he has scored in every home game since then, against West Ham, Aston Villa, Burnley, Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, Everton and Charlton.

"Little Fook" has contributed 15 goals in all competitions this season, only half a season to record the third-highest personal production season, breaking his personal best record of 22 goals in the 19/20 season is just around the corner. Manchester United manager Teng Hagar was also full of praise for his favorite player: "From the first day I joined Manchester United, I think Rashford is the most important player, and I don't want to lose him. He is within United's plans and will definitely stay with the team."
