Speaking on talkSPORT, presenter Andy Goldstein put it bluntly, "No matter how hard Crowe works in his future career, Messi has got the World Cup winner's medal, which Crowe can't get." Former Premier League star Bent agreed, "Yes, Crowe must be angry now. For a winner for so many years, Messi's win certainly bothers him."
When asked if he thought Crowe watched the World Cup final, Bent firmly replied, "No way. He'll turn off all notifications and block everything."
