The FA Cup has always been a cold arena, and this year's tournament is even colder, with eight Premier League teams meeting their Waterloo in the third round, a record high in the last 15 years. In addition to Aston Villa, eight Premier League teams - Everton, Crystal Palace, Bolton, Nottingham Forest, Binford, Newcastle United and Chelsea - also stopped in the third round, making it the most Premier League teams to go out in the third round of the FA Cup in England since the 2007/08 season.
