In the early hours of Sunday morning, English football was treated to an intense EFL Cup third round clash between Wolves and Liverpool in an entertaining Premier League showdown. The match ended in a 2-2 draw and had to be postponed to be replayed on another day.

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Biggar produced one of the most "stunning" moments of the game, passing the ball directly to the Wolves striker with little pressure in the first half, a mistake reminiscent of the 2018 UEFA Europa League final's lowly mistake by Kallios, which was widely criticized after the game.

Liverpool sent out a strong lineup for this game, with Dutch star Gap making his debut, and the goalkeeper position was also activated with the debut goalkeeper, Elisenbiga, instead of the Cup goalkeeper, Killy Boots. However, to our surprise, only 26 minutes into the game, Alichen Biega met his "Waterloo" when he stepped on the ball while receiving a return pass, and casually "sent" a foot to the Wolves striker Drykarluguadis, who easily shot into the goal. The latter scored with ease.

The "Reds" did not give up after falling behind. Dawun Nunes took a pass from Alexandre Arnault before the end of the half, and successfully shot to equalize the score to 1-1; in the 52nd minute, Mohammed Sana took advantage of the mistakes made by the Wolves' backline and scored in front of the goal to bring the score back to 2-1, but the Wolves did not get discouraged, and Wong Hee Chan scored a goal kick to equalize the score in the 66th minute to make it 2-2. Towards the end of the match, Wolves' Dodi Gomes was controversially called for a fake punt, and the match was postponed after both teams shook hands.

Alichenbiga's mistake in this game, which mirrored the goal Kalios gifted to Bin Schma in the 2018 UEFA final, was met with a frenzied post-match mobbing by internet users. Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Michael Brown said, "That miss could go in the list of the worst misses in history." However, Liverpool leader Gopp refused to blame Alisson Biggar: "The goal conceded shouldn't have happened, but Alisson has saved us many times before and we controlled the play after that, we just couldn't win the game."
