Portuguese star Cron has encountered registration problems with his new team, Ainas, due to the "overflowing" foreign aid quota. However, this dilemma is expected to be aided by his old team, Manchester United. According to Saudi media reports, United are interested in taking Cameroonian striker Abubakar on loan from Ainas. If the transfer comes to fruition, Ainas will release a foreign aid quota, freeing up registration space for Cron.

Saudi Okaz further disclosed that Ainas have reached an agreement with Abubakar for a loan move due to the overrun of the foreign aid quota. Apart from Manchester United, Fehrenbach have also shown interest in the Cameroonian striker. Abubakar is leaning towards Manchester United and expects to make his mark in the Premier League.

Abubakar, 30, has made 11 appearances in the Saudi league this season, contributing four goals and one assist. His transfer value is around €5 million. At the Club World Cup in Qatar, he led Cameroon in three matches as captain with two goals and one assist.

United boss Tannhäuser has said that the team needs to find a center forward after Cron's departure and Abubakar is the ideal candidate. He is not only cost effective but also positionally matched. If this deal is struck, it will not only help Cron solve his registration problems, but also bring a win-win situation for the team.
