Liverpool (England)
The Dutch starlet Gap joined the club at the end of the month, but the 23-year-old striker missed the Premier League clash with Binford in the early hours of Tuesday morning (3) and watched his side lose because he had not yet fully completed the transfer process and was not available to suit up.
According to British media reports, Gap's transfer has been successfully resolved and he is now eligible to play for Liverpool. Gapp is expected to make his Reds debut in the early hours of this Sunday (8) when Liverpool host Wolves in the EFL Cup.
This season, Gap has been performing well in the Dutch Eredivisie, contributing 9 goals and 12 assists in 14 appearances, and also helping the Dutch team to reach the last eight of the World Cup, scoring 3 goals individually. Liverpool's signing of Gap is a timely move to inject fresh blood into the team at a time when D'Avignonis' form is in the doldrums.
