Barcelona's slimming program is still in full swing after their Europa League defeat. The latest development comes in the form of the team's interest in pushing Spanish starlet Ansufadi into the transfer market with an opening bid of up to 70 million euros.

According to Spanish media, Barcelona have labeled Ansel Fardy "for sale" in the transfer window, aiming to cut the wage burden. Despite the player's declining performances for both Barcelona and the Spanish national team, scoring only three goals in 21 appearances for Barcelona this season and making two appearances at the World Cup in Qatar, he is still attractive on the transfer market.

The 20-year-old Ansoufadi inherited Barcelona's No. 10 jersey and was seen as a potential successor to Mes. When the contract was renewed, the liquidated damages were as high as 1 billion euros, but now Barcelona intends to sell at a low price, 70 million euros may be sold. Reportedly, Ansul Fadi himself is not willing to leave Barcelona, he is eager to get more opportunities to play.
