While he's currently doing his best to help Portugal compete in the World Cup, Spanish newspaper Marca has revealed that C Ronaldo has reached a deal worth up to 100 million euros with Saudi Arabian superpower Ainas. During the match between Portugal and Switzerland, some fans even waved placards saying "CR7, welcome to Ainas".
After Portugal progressed to the last 8, Cron was confronted with news about signing for Ainas as he left the field and passed through the media area, and he responded succinctly, "No, that's not true." That one sentence directly dismissed the transfer rumors. Currently in an uncontracted position, Cron is reportedly still eager to join one of Europe's top clubs, yet as of yet, no top club has thrown its hat into the ring.
