The selection made his dream of playing on the same team as his father, James, come true.
Brownie had his ups and downs at the Chicago combine tryouts in May. After a mediocre performance in the first 5V5 scrimmage, he managed to bounce back in the second, scoring a game-high 13 points and showing his potential and ability to adapt.
The 6-foot-87 Brownie, who plays guard, made 25 appearances in his freshman season at USC, contributing 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 19.3 minutes per game.
