In the upcoming World Cup feast, host Qatar's paper ban on alcohol has left many people stumped. The rule not only poses a serious challenge to the tournament's official sponsor, Budweiser, but has also upset many fans, and the buzz continues to heat up on the internet. Budweiser sparked a frenzy of speculation on Saturday (19) when it posted a photo of a warehouse on social media, suggesting that the World Cup winner would have exclusive access to all the beer in the warehouse.

Although the Qatar World Cup announced a no-alcohol policy before the tournament even started, much to the dismay of many fans, Budweiser, a sponsor of the tournament, has also appeared to be a bit helpless in the midst of the fiasco. Recently, Budweiser posted a photo of a stacked beer warehouse on Twitter, half-jokingly proclaiming that the team that wins the World Cup will be rewarded with extra beer, leaving people to wonder which national team will be the lucky winner.

However, this move does not mean that fans will be completely free from alcohol during the World Cup. It has been reported that under pressure from fans, the Qatari side may allow the sale of beer in designated fan zones and serve it at specific times of the day, with a maximum of four glasses per fan.
