England face Iran in their World Cup opener on Monday, and the Three Lions are widely expected to win. However, they will have to be on their guard as Iranian goalkeeper Biran Yunt has incredible strength, having broken the Guinness World Record by throwing the ball over 61 meters with a spectacular save. Defenders such as Halimaghouni will need to be wary of Biranyunt's quick counter-attacks!
Biranyunt, 30, had thrown the ball with his hand directly into the heart of the forward area in the penalty area during a World Cup outing against South Korea on behalf of Iran in October 2016, with the statistics showing that his throw reached a distance of 61.26 meters (about 66.7 yards), setting a world record for the furthest distance of a ball thrown with the hand. Biranyunt would often make a short run after receiving the ball, and then throw the ball with his right hand at full stretch to the striker for a counterattack, a skill that became a killer for Iran.
