Senegal have suffered an untimely loss in their World Cup campaign. In the early hours of Tuesday morning, Senegal once again lost their key players. Not only has Shadio Vinny said goodbye to this World Cup due to injury, but left sided players Ismail and S have also failed to participate due to transfer paperwork issues. It is reported that the Senegalese team has decided to replace the player with Moushani Dye from Andrégie.

Ismail and S, two German-born players, played for Germany's U21 team and opted to transfer their nationality to play for Senegal ahead of the World Cup. However, they were unable to play in this World Cup after Senegal failed to submit their transfer documents to FIFA in time before they made their debut for Senegal in September. Senegal head coach Aloysius made the decisive decision to transfer Moussane Dye to the first team.
