La Liga legend Bikey completed his final game as a Barcelona player in the early hours of Sunday morning (6) at Camp Lu stadium as he recently announced his retirement. In a showdown in which he started as captain, he helped his team to a 2-0 win over Emilia and left the stadium to the thunderous applause of more than 90,000 fans, bringing his Camp Roux career to a perfect close.
The league fixture became Bikey's retirement ceremony, with the 35-year-old entering with his son before the game, all his teammates wearing the No. 3 jersey with Bikey's name on it, a giant banner welcoming him hanging in the stands, and a televised recap of Bikey's best moments. Although Roberto Lewandowski missed a first-half penalty, second-half goals from Oscar Di Maria and Frankie de Jong helped Barcelona to a 2-0 victory.
