Located on the Balkan Peninsula, the miniature nation of Macedonia has given birth to soccer prodigy Goran Pandev. The talented player joined Serie A giants at the age of 18.

The team won the European Championships and made great achievements. However, this "North Macedonia", plagued by political disputes, did not really pay attention to the development of soccer, and for many years, the global soccer community seems to remember only the name of Pandev.

Postponed for a year, the 2020 European Nations Cup saw Pandev and his teammates fight hard and earn widespread attention. For the first time in the 30 years since the founding of the independent state, it was the first time that North Marchanton

International soccer tournament. Pandev's national team farewell has naturally been the focus of media tributes since he was first selected for the national team 20 years ago to the present day. As the only soccer star in North Marchanton, it is more important to understand how Pandev has selflessly dedicated himself to local soccer, not only in terms of moral support, but also in terms of a lot of money and energy. He has long been a superstar of domestic soccer and a reformer who is expected to be a founding father of North March soccer in the future.

Pandev has seen the ups and downs of national soccer from the time he was selected for the national team at the age of 17. At the age of 21, he was the most reliable attacking ball carrier in the country. Marchington (who had not yet changed the country's name) was then a mere underdog in European football, but managed to draw twice against England and Holland to take the spotlight. The gifted Pandev was supposed to go global with his young country (which became independent in 1991), but years have passed and Machidon (North Machidon) soccer is yet to get on the right track, which is largely attributed to the inaction of the governmental system and sports bodies.

After becoming a soccer superstar in China, Pandev could have been in the same boat with the powers that be, claiming "we will do better", but instead he has long stood up for the grassroots and challenged the authorities, criticizing the soccer association for its lack of improved hardware and facilities, and its chaotic system on many occasions, and even once withdrew from the national team out of anger; Pandev is already well known in the Italian first division. Pandev, who has made a name for himself in Italy's first division, did not become disdainful of soccer in the "Northern Horse" only after accumulating wealth. He understands the problems and wants to do better, but some people are unwilling to change.

"You're so capable, try it yourself!" People with this mentality are the best at saying such things. And Pandev must face these people, these words, every time he returns home. The problems of North Macedonian soccer are actually very different from those in Taiwan: an immature industry, a conservative industry culture, vested interests ...... On the eve of the European Championships in the summer of 2021, Pandev bluntly criticized the domestic authorities in an interview with [442] Magazine, and he's adhered to this right-and-wrong throughout his career principle.

At the age of 27 (2010), he decided to co-found a club with his youth coach, with a full ladder and facilities, like a professional team on TV - Akademija Pandev Football Academy was born. Starting out in the amateur league, the club was promoted to the top division of the North Horse after seven years, and in 2019 it won the domestic cup and entered the qualifying rounds of the Europa League. This year's North Mar internationals include players from this team founded by Pandev at his own expense, and more than half of the club's annual expenses have been borne by Pandev personally, from its humble beginnings to its thriving growth.

The North Marchanton Soccer facility has begun laying "artificial turf" and it all started with the efforts of Pandev. The NMFA's willingness to promote the program was made possible thanks to significant funding from UEFA's HatTrick program. It was Pandev who was the first to introduce the program in the country, and after complaining about the poor soft facilities of the national team in his early 20s, even clashing with the authorities (and then quitting the national team for the first time), and starting his own soccer club, he had to act faster to open the world's eyes to a wider range of people.

"If you want to do it, you'll just have to come first yourself", and that's what Pandev has always been, whether he's leading the offense on the field or leading North Machtom soccer forward off the field. After 20 years on the national team, he's leaving the opportunity to the youngsters, but his fight won't stop, and for North Marchanton soccer to move forward into the straight and narrow, Pandev is still that leader.

Pandev completed his national team career farewell in the EHF Cup.
