Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was ejected from a recent Premier League fixture against Manchester City after inadvertently receiving a red card for strongly questioning the referee's decision. The English Football Association (EFA) decided to impose a £30,000 fine on the German coach after a careful investigation, but did not ask for a suspension.

The English FA mentioned in an official statement that Jurgen Klopp violated the FA's E3 regulations during the match between Liverpool and Manchester City, so he was fined 30,000 pounds. Klopp himself also apologized for his misconduct.

When the game reached the 86th minute, Liverpool striker Mohamed Shana went down after an infringement by opponent Bernardo Silva, but referee Anthony Taylor didn't blow the game off, which enraged Klopp, who protested loudly to the fourth official Gary Beswick, which eventually led to a red card. Expecting to be banned, Klopp felt quite lucky that he only ended up with a fine.
