Worst draw of the season seems to make sense.

The 30-year-old Filabi Gutiérrez has been in a slump this season, failing to score or assist in any of his eight league matches, despite coach Cherat's high hopes. Including the end of last season, he has just one goal and zero assists in his last 20 matches. Sherratt also revealed a few days ago that Argentine attacking midfielder Beandia has a chance to compete for a starting spot: "Guteno's performance has improved, but he needs a goal or an assist to boost his confidence ...... Beandia is ready to start."

Not only has Filabi Guttino cost Villa £17 million, his contract has been extended until 2026 and he earns a whopping £125,000 a week. If he fails to return to his old level and is relegated, Villa will be saddled with the highly paid player for the next four years, which will be a huge financial burden on the club.
