In an exclusive interview with the Argentine media, Messi confessed, "I do feel a twinge of nervousness and uneasiness that this will be my swansong at the World Cup, without a doubt, the last time. How do we make the most of this opportunity? On the one hand, I can't wait for the game to start, but on the other hand, I am accompanied by anxiety." Although Messi is convinced that Argentina have what it takes to win the tournament, he does not want to be labeled as a "favorite".
