Jannevalo, who has coached the Chinese national team, announced his return to Italian soccer on Wednesday night (21st), signing a two-year deal with Serie B side Pineto. The arrival of Giannavarro has undoubtedly added more attractions and expectations to the star-studded Serie B in recent years, and the team's lineup even includes five world champion stars!

Since retiring in 2011, Giannavarro's coaching career has been mainly in Asia, where he has coached Tianjin Quanjian and Guangzhou Evergrande in the Chinese Super League, as well as being the head coach of the Chinese national soccer team. This time, he will be coaching Pinnacle Yuntu, marking his first return to the bosom of Italian soccer.

As captain of Italy's 2006 World Cup-winning team, Jannevalu returns to Serie B and will be reunited with many of his former teammates. Former teammate Nsaki is now the coach of Regina, while left back Grosso is now the manager of Ficineloni. Legendary goalkeeper Paul Fontaine, on the other hand, is still on the Parma goal line, despite not having retired yet. In addition, Spain's 2010 World Cup-winning Fabigas, a member of the Comunale, joined the club this summer, bringing the number of Serie B world champions to five.
