Italy will host England in the UEFA Nations League at dawn on Saturday, but the Italians have been hit by an unlucky note - central midfielder Marco Valenti has withdrawn from the squad due to injury, and will miss the crucial game and the subsequent UEFA Nations League clash against Hungary.

Paris Saint-Germain's (PSG) 29-year-old midfielder Marco Valatte left the field in the 64th minute of the last Ligue 1 match against Lyon. After the doctor's diagnosis, it is confirmed that the injury is not optimistic and he will not be able to represent Italy in the next two matches of the UEFA Europa League.

Italian manager Vincenzo also said that Mago Waratahi's injury is so serious that he is finding it difficult to walk, so he agreed to stay at PSG to receive treatment. Vincenzo plans to bring in midfielder David Faddis from Sassuolo to fill the void left by Mago Waratahi.

Italy are currently third in UEFA Group A3 with five points, two behind leaders Hungary, while England are bottom of the table with two points.
