With the drums beating for the new season, Nottingham Forest have made a strong return to the Premier League stage and have been on a reinforcement frenzy throughout the summer, and even though the transfer window has drawn to a close, Forest have not stopped. On Thursday (8), they announced the signing of Ivory Coast international Aurélia, and the experienced right-back has become the team's 22nd new face this summer.

In an official Forest statement, it was revealed that 29-year-old Aurilia has reached an agreement with the team and is just waiting for his work permit to arrive to settle the dust. The star, who has played for Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur, did not join his new owners immediately after his contract expired this summer and is eager to shine on a new platform in his return to the Premier League.

The signing of Aurélia takes Forest's reinforcements this summer to a new British club transfer window record of a staggering 22, breaking the previous record of 19 held by Scottish side Dundee United (2000) and English lower-tier side Livingston (2001), while the Premier League record was set by Crystal Palace in 2013 with 17.
