The dust of the transfer window is settling and the Premier League's superb goalscorers are starting to hit the market. With six weeks of the season already underway, let's dive into the calendar year's data and look for clues to lock in our favorite scorers early.

Since the 2000/01 season to date, the league's Golden Boot winners have all come from Big 6 teams, except for the 2019/20 season when the Golden Boot was lifted by Lister City striker Jimmy Wardy. Therefore, when choosing a Golden Boot winner, it is not necessary to be obsessed with supporting the weaker teams and just focus on the best of the Big 6 teams.

A total of seven scorers have stood out from the 2018/19 season so far, but none of them have scored more than 23 goals. Manchester City striker Xherant has already raked in 10 goals in six league games, and at the rate he's going with his goal-scoring momentum, it's not out of the question that he could score 40 goals in a season without a serious injury, so he's certainly the preferred scorer.

If you find the odds too monotonous and want to try something cold, then look out for Liverpool's Mohamed Sana. Although Shana didn't have a great start to the season, he's won the Premier League Golden Boot three times in the last five seasons and has both experience and strength in depth. Bo is capable of rediscovering his form at odds of up to 12x, making it a low risk bet for a small amount of money.
