Barcelona have made a big splash in the transfer market this summer, not only successfully bringing in the world-class striker known as "Roberto", but also selling Aubameyang, who joined the team for free, at a high price, which can be said to be full of money. In a series of operations, Barcelona also gave up the team's highest-paid player, who is the Danish international Bavverdi.

The 31-year-old Bafwerdi spent 2.5 years at Barcelona, scoring 10 goals in 58 appearances. He originally had a two-year contract with Barcelona, but the two sides recently reached an agreement to end it early in order to make strategic changes to the team. Bafwedi then joined city side Espanyol as a free agent and signed a three-year deal.

Aside from being an accomplished soccer player, Bafwedi is also a successful businessman whose wealth and income are often mentioned in Forbes magazine. According to statistics, his total annual income in 2020 was second only to Lionel Messi.
