Gabonese star Aubameyang has unfortunately suffered a horrific robbery at his residence in Barcelona. According to Spanish media reports, four heavily armed and masked burglars infiltrated his mansion in the early hours of last Monday (29). The gang, who were not only armed with guns but also iron bars, forced the 33-year-old international to open a safe and looted a string of valuable jewelry.
During the hijacking, the thieves were extremely brutal, not only binding and beating Obameyang and his wife, but also hitting Obameyang's jaw and his wife's head with a club, but fortunately, they did not suffer any serious injuries. The thieves quickly fled the scene after they had secured their gains.
After the incident, Aubameyang promptly called the police, but the couple refused to go to the hospital, not wanting to frighten their young children again because of the incident. FC Barcelona have made psychiatric appointments for Aubameyang's children in the hope of preventing them from being psychologically scarred.
