Just a day after beating Portsmouth 9-0 in a thriller, Scottish Premier League rivals Zaradi also recorded their biggest away win of the season with a 9-0 thrashing of Dundee United. Japanese striker Hiromu Furuhashi scored three times in the match, and with that, he reached his target of 30 goals for the season.
Zelodie have won all five of their matches since the start of the season, with Henwu Kubashi completing a hat-trick in the first half of their away match against Dundee United. Another striker, Abada, also scored three times in the second half to help his team to a 9-0 win. Japan international Henwu Furuhashi now leads the league's top scorers with six goals.
27 year old Henwu Furuhashi scored 20 goals in all competitions in his first season after joining Zagreb last season. Speaking after the game, he said, "My teammates often create chances for me, and my first goal this season is to score 20 goals first, but I want to challenge for a higher goal - to score 30 goals!" The Zeloutis face a string of tough matches over the next week, including League Cup and Scottish Premier League clashes with Rangers, before going up against Real Madrid in the Europa League group stage.
