In Saturday's (27th) Premier League match, despite Chelsea's double blow of skipper Doucao's suspension and midfielder Cana Garrincha's early red-card expulsion, newcomer Stanley Starnes stepped up as a savior, scoring a pair of solo shots to help Chelsea beat Leicester City 2-1 at home, breaking their two consecutive matches of winless spell.

It's also worth noting that Staanen became the third player, after Anrika and Sturridge, to score in the Premier League for all three giants - Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea.

Ducao was suspended for the match for his "strong handshake" with Tottenham Hotspur's team leader Gandhi, while center midfielder Golibani was also banned. In the 28th minute, midfielder Cana Galecha was sent off for accumulating two yellow cards, and the two sides were tied at 0-0 in the first half.

Just two minutes into the second half, Staanen broke the deadlock with a brilliant world wave, earning Chelsea their first official goal. The 27-year-old England international then took another pass from a teammate and scored with ease, giving Chelsea a two-goal lead and showing great resilience despite playing with one man less.

Despite a goal scored by Harvey Bannis, Lister City could not salvage the defeat in the end. With only one draw and three defeats in four matches in the Premier League this season, manager Roger Rogers' position seems to be in jeopardy.
