Since the moment he had a defibrillator implanted in his heart, Christian Eriksen's heart has been filled with anticipation: when will I be able to return to the field, and how long do I have to wait?

However, before that could happen, he had to go through a period of recuperation and recovery for almost six months.

This whole process, for him, was like slowly savoring hot rarebit in one bite.

However, back at the beginning of December, Christian Eriksen had quietly returned to Odense BK's training base - although technically his soccer career began at Middelfart Boldklub, which he joined with his best friend Anthony just before his third birthday.

But when he joined Odense BK as a youth player in 2005, it became the starting point of his career.

Eriksen was born on Valentine's Day 1992 in the coastal town of Mizelfart on the Danish island of Fiing. His father, Thomas, was a member of an amateur team but had to switch to auto parts sales due to an early injury.

However, the love of soccer, like DNA, has deeply influenced his offspring. Family support was crucial for Eriksen, who, along with his sister Louise, became a professional soccer player as a result of their father's passion for the game. To this day, Thomas is still furious at his son's mistakes on the field, even calling to "correct" him days after a game.

At that time, Christian Eriksen represented Odense BK in the Danish Youth Championship and was unlucky to be eliminated by Brøndby in the last eight, but he was voted the best technical player. The following year, Odense BK made a comeback and finally won the championship thanks to his goal in the final.

The talented youngster quickly caught the attention of many foreign giants after playing for the club's U16, U19 and Danish U17 teams. Christian Eriksen had trials with Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and AC Milan, before being snapped up by the foreign giants at the age of 16 (2008) for a high price.

The foreign giant was not one of those mentioned above, but could have taken him to wider skies than Denmark all the same. After all, Chelsea's youth system was still underdeveloped at the time, and there was fierce youth competition from traditional powerhouses such as AC Milan and Barcelona, and Eriksen's father turned down these offers in order to avoid his son's career being jeopardized by leaving the country too early.

This training facility is just minutes away from Christian Eriksen's villa. He shows up every morning at 8:00 a.m. on the dot, fully dressed, for a cardio workout under the guidance of a personal trainer.

After a catastrophic injury, BK Odense, where his career began, did not hesitate to lend a hand in Christian Eriksen's recovery.

It was already snowing in Denmark and Christian Eriksen couldn't wait to get back on the pitch and train with the ball. He was eager to continue playing soccer and knew that an early exposure to the ball would help him get back on the ball faster.

In fact, Christian Eriksen's ability to return to the field and train was already the second step in his rehabilitation program. In the first three months after his heart surgery, he had already begun training at his home gym and was undergoing rigorous physical tests.

It is a long and painful journey that is difficult for ordinary people to bear: on the one hand, he longs to return to systematic professional training as soon as possible, so that his physical functions can be restored to the professional level as soon as possible; on the other hand, the strict supervision of the doctors puts him under pressure, and any small physical problem may make him lose his ordinary life.

However, heaven forbid, Christian Eriksen's condition gradually improved.
