In the early light of dawn on Monday (29th), a fierce Premier League battle began, and Tottenham Hotspur once again staged a "turnaround against the odds". Tottenham Hotspur once again pulled off a "come-from-behind" performance, defeating newly-promoted Nottingham Forest 2-0 on the road with a second goal from center forward Harry Carney. Harry Carney's Premier League goal tally reached 187, equaling the record of the legendary Gower, and becoming the third goal scorer in the history of the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur have not been flashy enough this season, but the team has often been resilient enough to fight back from unfavorable situations. Harry Carney was outstanding up front, opening the scoring after just five minutes, before Nottingham Forest gave away a 12-yard penalty in the second half for a handball foul in the box, which Harry Carney slotted home. And in the 81st minute, the England striker broke through again to help Spurs seal a 2-0 win and an unbeaten run of three wins and a draw in their first four games of the season.

Harry Carney has scored in all four games this season and has amassed 187 career Premier League goals, equaling Manchester United and Newcastle legend Gower. He now trails only Ronnie (208) and Shuria (260) on the all-time EPL goalscorer list. After the match, Harry Carney said with great pride that he is aiming to break Shuria's record: "There's still a long way to go to break the record, but I'm in great form and I believe I can play for many more years and will keep challenging myself to score more goals."
