A wild night for Liverpool! In Saturday's Premier League clash, Liverpool, who have drawn two and lost one of their three matches to start the season, kicked off the season with a 9-0 thrashing at home to promotion rivals Bournemouth. Roberto Firmino was a godsend with two goals and three assists, while Luis Díaz, Javier Alillo, Alexander Arnott, Fabio Cavallo, and even midfielder Wakil Wendicek joined in the celebrations!
The "Reds" drew with Fulham and Crystal Palace in their first two matches of the season, and were demoralized when they lost to Manchester United in the last round of the "Double Red Clash". But in this match, they finally got a revenge victory to boost their morale. Despite the limited number of available players, only Fabinho is back in the injured list, but the team's desire for victory surpasses all.
Liverpool were two goals up just six minutes into the game. Roberto Firmino opened the scoring with a header assisted by Luolus Dyas, and then a ball control error led to a goal by teammate Javi Aiello to open the scoring for the big win.
In the 28th minute, Firmino again assisted Alexandre Arnault's goal, completing his hat-trick of assists, and three minutes later, the Brazilian striker capitalized on a chance in front of the goal and scored from close range, making it a one-shot, three-transfer game to help Liverpool take a 4-0 lead. Just before halftime, Wahkil Yundjak extended the lead to 5-0 with a header from a signature corner.
Early in the second half, Luis Díaz went close to being offside in front of goal, but VAR ruled the goal out and Liverpool sealed a 6-0 win for the 'home side'. Ponemonmouth were suffering in this game and just wanted the time to pass. In the 62nd minute, Firmino scored again to open the scoring. Towards the end of the game, Fabio Cavallo scored, Luis Dias also scored twice, but Mohamed Sana was left with no goals and was left with a "low" goal. In the end, Liverpool won 9-0 against Bromwich Albion.
