After a long wait of 23 years, Nottingham Forest finally stepped on the Premier League stage again. This summer, they have made a lot of moves, just last weekend they successfully brought in Emmanuel Dennis and Goyedi, and then on Monday (15th) they announced that they have brought in Swiss midfielder Fiona from Atalanta, making them the 15th new signing of the summer. It seems that they have no intention of slowing down, and according to a reliable source, Brighton striker Ma'obi is also on his way to becoming a member of Forest.
Forest officially announced the signing of Atalanta captain Fiona after beating Westham in the Premier League, with the 30-year-old Swiss international transferring for a whopping £8.5million, taking the team's total transfer investment this summer past the £110million mark. Not long ago, Forest also signed Emmanuel Dennis from Wakefield for £15m and successfully brought in free agent Goyedi, making three consecutive signings in just 48 hours.
Fiona is Forest's 15th new signing this summer, after they have signed players such as Linge, Deon Henderson, Ehonye, Bianconeri and Nicol Williams. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Forest are in talks with Whiteleyton over the transfer of striker Ma'obi and are expected to acquire the French shot-stopper for a fee of £15m.
