In today's Premier League highlights, Fulham welcome Liverpool to their home ground, and an up-and-down game is about to unfold. Fulham's new season started off with a bang as their pressing game caught Liverpool off guard. Alexandre Mizouwic was particularly impressive, scoring twice to help Fulham take the lead. However, Liverpool didn't give up and goals from Davin Nunes and Mohamed Sana ended the game in a 2-2 draw.
For Liverpool, the trio of Mohamed Sanaa, Luis Dias and Roberto Firmino join forces in the midfield with Thiago Ajendana, while the backline is guarded by Wahkil Wendy Jaques and Alichen Biega. On the Fulham side, former Manchester United midfielder Anders Penrina is paired with Alexandre Mizunovic in an attempt to break down the Liverpool defense.
Soon after the match started, Fulham showed a strong desire to attack, they pressed the whole team and forced Liverpool to deal with it. However, Liverpool's counter-attack was not to be underestimated. A shot by Luis Dias almost broke the goal, but he missed the chance due to offside. In the 32nd minute, Fulham broke the deadlock with a cross from the right by Kennedy Dietrich and a header by Alexandre Mizunovic to take a 1-0 lead at half time.
In the second half, Tiago Ajendana left the game with an injury, and D'Avignonis came on as a substitute. Nonetheless, the attacking momentum of Fulham continued, and in the 57th minute, Liverpool was unlucky when Kibanu's shot from the right hit the post. Then, Dawun Niunis came on and created a lot of chances, and finally in the 63rd minute, he received a pass from Sana and sent the ball into the empty net with his back foot to equalize the score at 1-1.
However, Fulham were not satisfied with this and in the 72nd minute, Aleksandar Mizunovic was awarded a penalty kick after being kicked down in the penalty area, and he scored the ball himself to put the score beyond 2-1. Liverpool did not give up though, and in the 80th minute, Mohammed Sana grabbed the chance in front of the goal and scored the ball to make the score 2-2.
