Former Liverpool-Real Madrid star Owen has boldly predicted that Liverpool are expected to buck Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

Even though it has not been easy for Real Madrid to reach the final, Owen still pays tribute to their performance. He praised Real Madrid for coming out on top in the group stage and for their magical performance in eliminating Chelsea, but firmly believes that Liverpool's experience and strength is superior.
Owen believes that Liverpool will continue their regular style of play, which is enough to guarantee them a win. Real Madrid, on the other hand, prefer a game full of tactical changes and are expected to adopt a fast counter-attacking strategy.
Owen emphasized that Liverpool's multitude of players can be more effective if they can limit Real Madrid's stars Benzema and Vinicius. He believes that this Liverpool team could be one of the best ever. If they can win the Champions League, they will have achieved the Triple Crown feat this season and are only one trophy away from asking for the Quadruple Crown. Owen exclaims that this is perhaps the best performing Liverpool in the history of English and even world football.
