On June 27, Beijing time, on the eve of the upcoming match between Belgium and Ukraine in the third round of the group stage of the UEFA Europa League, Ukrainian player Yaremchuk accepted a media interview, sharing his views on the upcoming match as well as his personal experience.

In the interview, Yaremchuk first talked about their next opponent, the powerful Belgian team. He stated that he has an in-depth knowledge of Belgian soccer and admitted that their national team is at a very high level. He expects that it will be a very challenging match and Ukraine will need to play exceptionally well to get points from this high-level team. Yaremchuk admits that he hopes that luck will favor Ukraine on the day of the match, and he also believes that the Belgian team will play more aggressively and openly due to their own pressure and expectations.

When the conversation turned to his soccer experience in Belgium, Jaremczuk showed his gratitude. He mentioned that the Belgian professional league provides an excellent platform for young players to grow, and that many top soccer talents have come to the fore here. He especially thanked FC Gent, where he played, for the trust and development that gave him the opportunity to be selected for the Ukrainian national team and to participate in UEFA EURO 2020.

In addition, Yaremchuk shared his experience of scoring goals in international matches. He modestly stated that the goal against Slovakia, although wonderful, was not necessarily the best goal of his career in an international match, and he also mentioned another beautiful goal he scored against Kazakhstan. Finally, speaking about his teammate Dovbik, Yaremchuk said that the two are friends and maintain a good relationship both on and off the field. He highly respects Dovbik and appreciates his contribution to the club and the national team. Yaremchuk believes that healthy competition within the team is good for the growth of the individual and the national team as a whole.
