Manchester City midfielder superstar Ferrandino, in an interview with the media, made it clear that he will bid farewell to the Blue Moon at the end of the season and return to his home country of Brazil to start a new chapter in his career.

Ferrandino's contract with Manchester City is set to expire this summer, and his stay or departure has been the focus of attention from fans and the media. On the eve of the second leg of the UEFA Europa League last 8 showdown, the Brazilian veteran was asked about his future plans, and he responded firmly: I won't stay here, I'm hungry for more games, and I've already made a decision with my family to return to Brazil in the future. Ferrandino also revealed that Manchester City had already been informed of the decision, however, manager Pep Guardiola seemed to be unaware of the news until a press conference where he heard it from a reporter, but nonetheless, the manager expressed his full understanding of Ferrandino's decision.

Ferrandino, 36, moved to City from Sacta in 2013, and in his nine years at the Blue Moon, he has helped the team win four Premier League titles and numerous domestic cup honors. However, Ferrandino's time on the pitch has dwindled recently, with only six league starts this season, which has led him to make the decision to leave, convinced that he still has what it takes to continue playing.
