Daily Sport revealed that Barcelona are plotting to recruit Chelsea's French winger Nkunku, with the intention of strengthening the team's side fighting force. Nkunku himself has shown a strong desire to leave the team, and he dreams of regaining the style of Red Bull Leipzig in the top team that provides abundant opportunities to play.

It was reported that Nkunku's career at Chelsea seemed to be overshadowed by the fact that he spent most of the matches as a substitute, which made him disgruntled. He aspires to be a starter in the team, however Chelsea are overcrowded and have left the door open for Nkunku to leave. Nkunku's agent, Pini Zahavi, has strong ties with Barcelona and has recommended Nkunku to the club. Rumor has it that Nkunku is even willing to compromise on his salary in order to get out early.

However, Barcelona are suffering from salary problems and do not have any large-scale reinforcement plans for the January transfer market. If Nkunku can leave on loan, this might be an alternative for Barcelona. A loan would not require a huge investment, and Nkunku's skills would be in line with new manager Frick's philosophy.

Barcelona have taken an in-depth look at Nkunku but have yet to make a concrete move. Nkunku is in full form and is eager to show himself and prove his worth in his new home. For Barcelona, the introduction of Nkunku is a good strategy to improve the strength of the side of the attack, but the club needs to weigh the pros and cons to make the best decision.
