In a new update from the Manchester Evening Post, there is a glimmer of light on Manchester United's injury-prone squad. It is reported that Mount is expected to return to action come January, while de Ligt could also be back in action for the next game against Wolves.

Looking back, Munter was forced to leave the field after only 13 minutes due to a leg muscle problem despite making his debut in the Manchester City Derby. Despite the setback, the good news is that Munter's recovery is progressing well and is expected to energize United's seasonal push next January.

Meanwhile, good news has also come from De Ligt. After missing out due to illness, Delicht's condition is reported to have improved significantly and he is expected to feature in the next round of games against Wolves, reinforcing United's back four.

However, United's injury list remains in doubt. Luke Shaw suffered a hamstring injury shortly after his return to action in November, and his return remains a mystery. United fans are eagerly awaiting his return.

Lindelof made his debut against Tottenham but went down with discomfort and was replaced by Amorim at the break. With Lindelof's return to action also up in the air, United will need to keep a close eye on the situation.

Despite the wave of injuries in the middle of the season that posed a number of challenges for United, fans are confident that with the return of the injured players, United will regroup and be ready for the following campaign.
