The 17th round of the English Premier League (EPL) was held on December 23rd, and the match between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur came to an end with a score of 6-3. Inside and outside the stadium, this wonderful duel triggered heated discussions, in which the soccer celebrity Carragher made an in-depth analysis of Liverpool's excellent performance, and gave high praise to Salah's extraordinary performance.
Recalling Liverpool manager Sloter's pre-match press conference, Carragher couldn't help but laugh, "Sloter's sense of humor was really something to behold in that Friday conference. It was as if he was defending Tottenham's Postecoglou coach, but I was half expecting that. I guess in his heart of hearts, Sloter actually expected Spurs to emulate Manchester United's style of play and give it their all. And Spurs did, giving Liverpool a huge amount of space to attack. I understand that a lot of Liverpool fans thought that Liverpool had a chance to score 10 goals."
For Liverpool's performance throughout the game, Carragher appeared quite satisfied: "Today's Liverpool, both in attack and defense, show the style of the top team. Although Tottenham Hotspur also scored three goals, but in the face of such a powerful opponent, such a result has been quite good."
As for Salah, Carragher was even more excited: "As for Salah, his performance was simply breathtaking. He is simply a phenomenal player on the field. I think he's probably one of the top five players in Liverpool's history. You know, Liverpool is one of the most successful clubs in England and has had numerous legends. Salah's performances have really made a difference and he is fully deserving of being on the same pitch as these legends."
