In the latest edition of the daily briefing's personal column, veteran Italian soccer pundit Romano gives an insight into the transfer of English Premier League side Crystal Palace's Gueye. Romano reveals that Gueye has attracted a lot of attention from Europe's top clubs thanks to his outstanding performance for England at the Euros.
Romano further disclosed that Gueye and his team have been approached by soccer rivals such as Liverpool and Newcastle United this summer, but to this day, the transfer market has remained quiet and no major moves have been made for Gueye. Romano emphasized that he is not a spokesman for Gueye and therefore cannot reveal the player's plans for his future career.
Speaking about Gueye's current form, Romano is adamant that the player will continue to be fully committed to the Crystal Palace battle this season. He noted that despite the uncertainty of the road ahead, Gueye has shown no signs of urgency to leave the club, so it's safe to assume that he's yet to make any decisions between Liverpool and Newcastle United.
