Albanian coach Silvinho recently said that the upcoming Euro debut will bring unprecedented psychological weight to arch-rivals Italy. He was impassioned to say that Albania are ready to give it their all on the Euro stage, despite the bumps in the road during their qualifying campaign.

Silvinho further pointed out that Italy, as an evergreen in the soccer world, has always maintained strong competitive strength. He used the example of Brazil's first draw with Switzerland in the 2018 World Cup as a warning to Italy that if they don't win their first match, the subsequent journey is likely to be even more bumpy.

However, Silvinho also confessed that although Albania do not have the same heavy pressure as Italy, they are feeling the same tension of the tournament. He revealed that the team as a whole is in good shape and the players are giving their best in training.

Talking about his personal coaching career, Silvinho recalled his coaching time in Italy, saying that he gained a lot during his time as an assistant coach at Inter Milan and spoke highly of the tactical philosophy of Italian soccer.

With the Euro's approaching, Silvinho and his Albanian team are ready to go and are looking forward to making a splash on the field and taking on the likes of Italy and other powerhouses.
