The latest revelation from La Gazzetta dello Sport has rocked the football world: Arsenal and Barcelona's pursuit of Sevilla's 22-year-old midfielder Agomé has reached a fever pitch. Since joining Sevilla on loan in January this year, the French U21 international has been a shining star, gradually standing out in the team. This summer, Sevilla bought Agomé permanently from Inter Milan for €4 million, a move that undoubtedly recognizes his potential.
Up to now, Agomé has made 12 starts in the 17 official matches he has played in Sevilla, and his outstanding performances and great potential have attracted the attention of Arsenal and Barcelona, two of the biggest soccer giants in the world.
However, Inter Milan did not completely exit the stage in this deal. It is reported that Inter retains the right to share 50% of Agomé's future transfer fee. In other words, if Agomé moves again in the future, Inter still has the right to half of the transfer fee.
In response to this situation, Inter's follow up reporter Daniele Mari has provided an in-depth explanation. He pointed out that Sevilla could pay Inter an additional 4 million euros, thus pocketing 40% of Inter's share of the second transfer. As a result, Inter would only retain a 10% interest in the second transfer fee.
