In a recent in-depth interview, former Dutch national team coach Frank de Boer took a hard look at Brazilian star Anthony's performance on the green field. De Boer made no bones about the fact that Anthony was frequently "missing" from the game, was weak on the defensive end, and failed to take full advantage of his physical conditioning.

DeBoer said bluntly, "It seems like a year and a half since I've witnessed Anthony skillfully crossing the floor, and his moments of awesomeness seem to be a thing of the past. It can't help but be frustrating because as a forward, he's supposed to be the team's killer on the offensive end."

DeBoer continued, "Anthony often wandered the court like a ghost, as if he had become a spectator on the sidelines of the court rather than a fighter giving his all. In the confrontation, his strength appears weak, unable to realize the proper physical potential. This is undoubtedly a fatal weakness for a striker."

In the face of Anthony's situation, Dutch soccer legend Vlaar also expressed concern. Vlaar said, "If you think you can be silent on the field, you are really wrong. In the Premier League, which is a top league, players must be highly focused and competitive at all times. However, Anthony has clearly not lived up to that standard."

Vlaar further commented, "Anthony was repeatedly squeezed by his opponents during the game and his performance was mediocre and uninspiring. From this perspective, I don't think he has the strength to play at Premier League level. His inability to compete effectively with his opponents makes his position in the team incredibly awkward."

Finally, DeBoer expressed concern about Anthony's future prospects. He warned, "If the coach is still optimistic that Anthony is only in a temporary slump, he fears he will miss the best time to correct his mistakes. Anthony must face up to his shortcomings and work hard to improve his performance, otherwise his future in the Premier League will be bleak."
