Roma FC has agreed with former head coach Juric on a contract termination, with plans to officially end the relationship by paying him and his coaching team one month's salary in January of the coming year, Allmarkets has disclosed.
Although Juric was dismissed by Roma on November 10, with his original contract due to run until June 2025, he did not sink. Soon after, he took over the coaching reins at Southampton in the English Premier League. Faced with the crisis of Southampton being on the verge of relegation, Juric didn't flinch, but rather stirred up the spirit of challenge.
Southampton only accumulated 5 points in the first 16 rounds of the league, 9 points away from the relegation zone, the relegation situation is grim. However, Juric is all set for the trip to England. Sources revealed that he has done all the preparations for coaching the English team.
While finalizing his coaching details with Southampton, Juric also started friendly negotiations with Roma on the termination of his contract. In the end, both sides reached an agreement that Roma will pay Juric and his coaching team one month's salary in January next year, thus ending his contract six months earlier. The move marks the end of Juric's cooperation with Roma and clears the way for him to coach Southampton.
