Albanian soccer leader Silvinho said bluntly in a recent interview that the upcoming Euro debut will undoubtedly be a psychological battle for the Italian team.

Despite Albania's trials and tribulations during its qualifying campaign, Silvinho is confident that the team has sharpened its edge and is ready to give it its all in the Europa League.

Talking about the Italian team, Silvinho did not forget to remind that the competitiveness of this traditional soccer powerhouse should not be underestimated. He used the example of Brazil's first draw with Switzerland in the 2018 World Cup to warn the Italians that if they lose their first match, the subsequent matches will get tougher and tougher.

Although Albania is not carrying as much pressure as Italy, Silvinho said that the team is feeling the same tension of the tournament. He revealed that the team is in good health and the players are giving their best in training.

Talking about his coaching career, Silvinho recalled his experience as an assistant coach at Inter Milan in Italy, saying that he had benefited greatly and spoke highly of the tactical philosophy of Italian soccer.

With the Europa League getting closer, Silvinho and his Albanian team are ready to go, and they are looking forward to showing their strength on the field and having a great showdown with strong teams such as Italy.
