Bournemouth iron defender Heysen recently revealed his transfer journey and insights into his personal career prospects in some interviews with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Hewison recalled, "Roma's sporting director, Thiago Pinto, loaned me out to play for Roma right at the end of January last year. As the summer progressed, he (promoted to President of Operations at Bournemouth at this point) painted a grand picture of the team and managed to convince me to join. In July, I witnessed the fulfillment of that promise, with no regrets, but rather felt at home in Bournemouth. Today, we are sixth in the Premier League, which comes as no surprise to me as we have risen like a dark horse."

Speaking about the current state of the team, Hjeldsen is confident: "We have an exceptional coach in Ilaura and a host of players with unlimited potential, such as Jostein Kluivert, Semenyo, Zabarni and Kolkerz, all of whom are contributing immensely to the team."

Heysen also expressed concern for old friends from his time at Roma: "I'm still in touch with Svilar, Piccioli and Romelu Lukaku. Roma's performance in Serie A has been disappointing, but I'm sure the team will quickly rise to the top."

Heysen was not shy about praising the young talent in Roma's squad: "Sule? I've had occasional conversations with Matias. It's not easy to stand out in this environment, but Sule's talent is there for all to see and I'm sure he'll shine at Roma."

When asked about the possibility of returning to Roma, Heysen responded frankly: "Return to Roma? My time in Italy was unforgettable, and the world of soccer is always full of variables. But at this stage, I have found my own happiness at Bournemouth and we are pursuing our dreams and goals together."

Finally, Heysen also expressed his gratitude to his former mentors: "Mourinho and De Rossi? I owe them so much. Their careful guidance and help will always be in my heart."
