The Beninese international and the Nigerian Warriors had an up and down battle in the 4th round of the group stage of the World Cup qualifiers for the African zone which was played on June 11, 2024.
The drums of war were beating and the Nigerian Warriors were the first to attack. Although the two attacking chances could not be converted into goals, they were enough to justify the efforts of the Nigerian Warriors in the second half.
The match came to an end as the referee's final whistle blew. The Beninese internationals managed to win the crucial battle with a come-from-behind victory over the Nigerian Warriors with a scoreline of 2-1. Goals from Moune and Jordel Dosu were responsible for the win.
