In the 6th round of the UEFA Europa League, Chelsea will meet the challenge of Shamrock Rovers at home. At the time of this hard battle, Chelsea coach Maresca in the pre-match press conference, directly to the media questions, on the Mudrick incident and the team's preparation for the state of the detailed exposition.

Facing questions about the Mudrick incident, Maresca confessed, "With the release of the club's statement, everything became clearer and clearer. All of us in the coaching staff, all of us in the training base, stand firmly behind Mudrick and give him all-round support. We trust him and we will support him at every level when he is challenged."

Maresca revealed that he had recently spoken to Mudrick and was adamant: "A few days ago we both had a conversation and were both deeply saddened, but we both chose to support him. At the moment he is unable to participate in training, but the club will do everything in its power to provide him with the help he needs."

Asked about the level of confidence in Mudric's innocence, Maresca responded firmly: "We believe in his innocence and are waiting for things to come out. Even if he is at risk of a long ban, I am sure he will return. The only thing that is uncertain now is the time of return, but there is no doubt that he will be back."

Speaking about Mudrick's mental state, Maresca said, "He comes from a war-torn land and it is definitely a challenge to come to a foreign country, far away from his family and friends. We are concerned that he may feel lonely and difficult during this time, but we should be supportive in the face of this situation, no matter where we are."

In response to Mudrick's absence, Maresca revealed the team's strategy to deal with it, "We will try to get other players to fill the void. Tyrique George, for example, will get more chances to play and we will try to help him improve on a daily basis."

Facing upcoming opponent Shamrock Rovers, Maresca said, "They are a good team, good at overall defense and have several outstanding players. We will give our best as always to win the game."

Finally, Maresca spoke highly of the team's overall performance, "We have exceeded my expectations so far this season. We have achieved good results in terms of both the way we have played and the results. We will continue to work hard and try to create a good result in the EHFU."
