On June 11, the fourth round of the group stage of the World Cup qualifiers in the African zone, a focus battle between Benin and Nigeria, the game process ups and downs, exciting.

As the game kicked off, the Nigerian team was on the attack like a tiger on a mountain. It was only in the 28th minute that Chukwueze sent in a cross from the right and Onyedika adjusted his pace and fired a shot through the goal to make it 1-0 in favor of Nigeria. But Benin did not let this discourage them as they quickly adjusted their strategy and fought back.

In the 37th minute, Benin took a turn for the better. Jordel Dossou made a breakaway in front of the goal and put the ball into the net to make the score 1-1, a goal that not only boosted Benin's morale, but also made the game even more exciting.

Benin made a comeback in the extra time of the first half. In the 45th+3rd minute, Olaitan sent in a corner kick from the right side and Moune broke through with a pinpoint shot to put Benin back in front 2-1 and in sight of victory.

At the end of the match, the two sides fought to the death. Nigeria tried to turn the game around by stepping up their offense, but Benin's defense was solid and they managed to withstand the Nigerian onslaught through excellent teamwork and resilience.

In the 85th minute, Olawoyin sent a cross from the right side of the field which was headed off the line by a defender. Immediately after, in the 86th minute, Onuachu headed the ball, but it went over the crossbar. Although these two chances were not converted into goals, it was enough to see how hard the Nigerian team worked in the second half.

The match came to an end with a whistle from the referee. Benin won the crucial battle with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Nigeria. Goals from Moune and Jordel Dossou were key to the team's victory. Nigeria, on the other hand, led in the first half but eventually failed to withstand Benin's comeback and lost.
